Investments are not only the way you can earn money, but you can invest in your body, mind, health, you can become more confident, fearless… There is a lot in what you can invest in yourself.

1. Fitness

The best investment you can do is daily exercise. Getting enough exercise will help not only your body but also your mind. 

Daily exercise gives you more energy, reduce stress, improve your brain, and memory and a lot of other things like that. It’s safe to say that exercise is always good.

Health should always be our number #1 priority in our personal lives. 

Actually, you don’t even need money to start exercising. You don’t need a membership to a local gym. Use your imagination, use everything you have around your house.

You can always leave your house and go for a walk – Yes, even just a little bit of a walk counts as an exercise. 

Don’t think of excuses, because you don’t need anything to start exercising. Start doing yoga, workout at home. Do that every day and you’ll see results soon enough.

Fitness is not only going to the gym and start weightlifting. You can go dancing, swimming, riding a bike or attend self-defense classes which I highly recommend. 

Remember – our lives are unpredictable. You need to be ready for anything that comes tomorrow, in a week, in a year, or a couple of years. Sometimes being a little stronger or faster can save yours or your loved ones lives.

Tell yourself you’re going to exercise only for 10 minutes – it’s not too long, right? 

After that 10 minutes, I bet you will see that it’s not so bad. Then tell yourself you will exercise for 10 minutes more, and 10 minutes more. Before you know it, you’ll start feeling better and you’ll finish your workout in for the day.

It’s called setting micro-goals. Adding small goals to build one successful goal. Use it every day in fitness and you’ll be able to control yourself and get that daily exercise done.

2. Knowledge

Our brain is a powerful tool, and most people don’t use it right. We need to train our brain to get smarter. 

Smart people are the ones that accomplish their goals and become successful. 

Seriously, you think becoming successful is easy? No. 

To become successful in life you need knowledge. It doesn’t matter if you already have a successful business or not.

You still need to know a lot of things, for example: How to operate a business in case of a crisis, how to use money to gain more money. How to get out of trouble legally if something comes up. 

Yes, you can hire experts to help you or do the work for you. But you still need knowledge to protect yourself, protect your business, to understand what is going on in your business or your life. 

Let’s talk about work. Are you an expert in your field? Are you the best? No? 

Do you want to be the best at what you do, and be irreplaceable?

DO THE WORK.

To be an expert, means you need to outsmart your competitors. To do that, you need to think outside the box. It’s not easy, but most likely that’s the only way. 

Invest your time to learn new skills that will help you become an expert in your field. 

You need to read, read, and read. Make a schedule. Say you will read at least 50 pages every day. Do that for a month and you’ll be better, do that for a year, you’ll probably be ahead of your competitors.

3. Routine

Planing our time every day is very important to be efficient. We all have 24 hours per day. Most of the people say they don’t have time to do that or that. But there are people who can do the same work with the same skills per 1 day what others will do per week. 

We need to plan our time every day. It’s like making a “To Do List”. Fill out what you need to do tomorrow in a list, and mark every point by the time – build a schedule. 

Having a schedule will help you take control of your time. You’ll know what and when you have to do. 

Speaking of planning a schedule. To be more efficient, you need to plan when you can rest. The best way if you take from 60 minutes of every hour and do like this – work for 50 minutes, and take a 10 minutes break.

Breaks are important, not only to be more productive, but it’s also important for our health. Even sitting in a chair for 8 hours is not healthy for your body. Take those 10 minutes and go for a little walk, help your body and your mind rest a bit.

It’s important in your daily routine to plan your meals at the same time.

I mean what you have to do every day, plan a time for everything to do at the same time. 

  • Go to sleep
  • Wake up
  • Take a shower
  • Meals
  • Exercise
  • Hobbies
  • Work

You’ll see it will be much easier if you do all of these things at the same time every day.

4. Bad Habits

We all have bad habits, and we must change as much as possible bad habits into good ones. 

I often hear people telling me: I don’t have money to do that, I don’t have money to start something of my own, I don’t have money to invest…

Then why do you smoke? Why do you drink so often? Why do you hang out at bars so much?

If you do all of these things, don’t tell me that you don’t have money. 

If you want to change your bad habits, it’s not a problem. It may be hard, but it’s not impossible. If you want to become better, do it. 

You’re responsible for your own life. Do something about it. Possibly that these bad habits are blocking your goals.

Reading is important, but it also important to attend courses or seminars. 

By reading books you’ll get theory knowledge. But attending seminars, you will hear people speaking about their experience.

Seminars have big benefits because you can meet and chat with other professionals in that field. You can make great connections or maybe even find a great mentor who can help you in your career.

Investing in yourself means you’re making small steps, big improvements and you’re building your life the way you always wanted.
